I was carpooling with some sisters to an AlMaghrib seminar and a sister gave us the example of life being like bumper cars.
Why can people laugh and be patient when riding bumper cars but not in life? Life is just like riding in a bumper car because you will encounter unexpected bumps, crashes, and sometimes you will get sandwiched between other cars or your car just stops in place while others around you seem to be having an easier time.
If we were truly patient and thankful to Allah subhanahu wa ta ala, we would not get upset at the bumps in life and just as we exit the rides laughing the truly successful ones will be laughing in paradise.
so true ukhtee, so true. inshallah we can all work on taking the bumps in life a bit more graciously.
jazakAllahu kahyran sister, this is vry good masha’Allah, I know I am using this for some recent happenings.
