This quote sums up a lot for me. It’s one reason I read and watch documentaries, love history and current events, and learning about different cultures and people.

It’s so true, one of our teachers once said that every conflict in the world begins with a failure in the akhlaaq (character) department. The world would be a much better place if we could push aside our egos to sincerely care about and for one another.
