Shaykh Yasir Qadhi – Response to Xenophobia

“Correct me if I’m wrong here, but the way I see it is that if you feel threatened by this piece of cloth, you feel this is shaking your identity, and challenging who you are, then I think that shows your own prejudices, and your own fears, and your own xenophobia, and your own hatred of our religion.”

“Some Muslims, a very very small minority react to such hatred and violence with hatred and violence. They react to such xenophobia and anger with militancy and extremism. And we saw the evil effects of this reaction on 7/7 London bombings. And this reaction, not only is it un-Islamic, it is foolish, and counterproductive.”

Shout out to Amatullah.

  1. Thanks, but I’m still not sure about it. I’ve always thought that Muslim Apple should have some reddish overtones but I think I have a touch too much pink.

  2. well, it’s not too bad, I kinda like it, the pink is subtle. But, if you want to be more bold, go with an orange/black/white/red scheme, or you could try greenish and red (apple), or my personal favourite is a deep red with a really bright blue. anyways, you can check here… http://www.colorschemer.com/ its a cool little tool.
